My Treatment Focus
As a therapist, my focus is to help individuals become aware of their strengths, struggles, and become more flexible in thinking. This is achieved by increasing awareness of thoughts and emotions, identifying unhealthy life patterns, and the origin of which they began. With this knowledge gained, we work together to help you, your brain, and body learn new and healthy life style changes and balanced thinking.

It can be overwhelming trying to figure things out on your own while juggling probably what feels like a million things. You may know something needs to change, but figuring out where to start can feel confusing or discouraging. Therapy can be a space where you slow down, understand what’s really going on beneath the surface, and begin creating meaningful change. Together we can sit and go through it.

My mission is to be there for you throughout your journey of growth. My goal is to help you get to where you want to be in your life. My hope is you find comfort in yourself and remember you have power through vulnerability, honesty, and change. Growth is always happening even if you don’t immediately see it.
My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly about what you're experiencing. Therapy can help you gain clarity, build coping skills, and create a life that feels more balanced and manageable. I offer telehealth appointments with evening and weekend availability to make care more accessible.
About Destiny Webre, LCSW
I've worked in inpatient and outpatient facilities as a therapist for five years to gain experience working with those who struggle with mental health disorders, life stressors, and help improving problem solving skills. I completed my masters education with Louisiana State University. I have provided group and individual therapy daily with trauma informed care that is solution focused and mindfulness based.
I approach counseling from a cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral lens where emotional distress and thought patterns can be acknowledged, adjusted and soothed. I also utilize sensorimotor psychotherapy to focus on how and where the body holds trauma. Learning about how you, your brain, and your body are connected and rewiring it to bring a sense of control and relief brings improved self-awareness and mental well being.
We are all permitted to have a reset as many times as needed.
